Sunday was one of those delightful days where I felt re-energized while also having been able to check off several items on my to-do list.
I hope today will be like that as well, so to add one more check to that list: this weeks’s Deep Thoughts, a quick mix of links, observances, Instagram pics and other neat things that have crossed my path over the last week.
Did you hear that H&M is now selling home products in the United States? Hoooo-raaay!
There are definitely some themes in the products, such as tribal patterns, photographs, writing in French, antique logos, transit motifs and street maps printed on all manner of fabrics and products.
Here are some of my faves.
So far it doesn’t look like H&M home products have been sold in any stores in the United States — just online.
But I can cross my fingers that a home section that I can peruse in person is not too long in coming. H&M will open its first store in Louisville this fall, and I can’t wait.
Hat tip to Door Sixteen for writing about H&M Home, which grabbed my attention.
Fun on Instagram
Fun pets. Impossibly trendy toddlers. Colorful collections.
Instagram isn’t just for food porn. Here are some that I always look to for updates.
Come to my event!
One last plug (I think) for a workshop I’m helping to put on on Saturday.
(And by “helping to put on,” I mean more of the bringing-cupcakes and early-stages-planning kind of “helping to put on,” not presenting. I’ll be there to learn too!)
This one will be all about search-engine optimization, and Nathan Engels, one of Leap Agency’s SEO specialists (and a Louisville Bloggers member), will walk bloggers through basic search-engine optimization tactics at 1 p.m. Saturday at Leap Agency’s offices.
And if you have any suggestions for future workshops, let me know.
